Boxing results: Liam Davies beat Ion Baluta


ENGLAND’s SUPER BANTAMWEIGHT champion Liam Davies added European and WBC International titles to his increasingly long résumé by edging past Ionut Baluta over 12 innings in Telford.

Davies was the dominant force throughout the fight, bringing his tactics to perfection and frustrating the wayward Baluta, who simply couldn’t get into range effectively.
