As the new school year approaches, Ukraine prepares students to return to school.
Since Russia invaded the country on February 24, more than 280 schools have been completely destroyed and 2,300 schools damaged.
According to Ukraine’s Interior Ministry, only 41% of schools, nurseries and universities have bomb shelters, a number that local authorities are working to increase.
