Latto Surface Footage Blocked by Police
On Friday, July 19, Raq Rarest published Body worn camera footage Latto was stopped by police. According to the date, the incident occurred on September 28, 2023, around 2 a.m.
In the footage, a police officer approaches Latto’s yellow car and asks her to show her identification. Latto, whose real name is Alyssa Stephens, explains to the officer that she is a rapper before adding that she ran a red light because she was “trying to hurry home.”
Furthermore, the rapper said that fans recognized her car and she wanted to keep her destination safe.
Latto explained that she was celebrating a friend’s birthday at a club. Eventually, the police asked the rapper to take a breathalyzer test. The police then gave Latto a ticket for running a red light and encouraged her to be more careful when driving.

Latto isn’t the only rapper to have footage of their traffic stop go viral. In April, footage of GloRilla being pulled over by police went viral. In the footage, she claims she’s fine. However, police noted the smell of narcotics on her and her car, according to Shade room.
Last month, Lil Baby made headlines when news broke of him being stopped by police in 2020. Shade room As previously reported, the rapper was cited for tinting his car windows too dark.
Like Latto, Baby seemed worried that fans would recognize his car.
“We need to put window tinting in Atlanta. These people are crazy,” he allegedly told police. “I’m going to fine them before they follow me home.”
