On Sunday (June 1), Bobby updated fans on Instagram about new music. Fans have repeatedly begged the rapper to release some new music since he was released from prison in February 2021.
However, in one Instagram captionsBobby expressed his belief that streaming services would not promote his music because of his refusal to change his appearance and paint his nails.
“Stop asking me to drop American DSP music and the music blogs they own and not allow Bodman to actually be on playlists because I don’t draw my fingers so it’s meaningless until something to be done with the people who own, operate and manage these platforms,” Bobby wrote.

This isn’t the first time Bobby Shmurda has shared his thoughts on music. In 2022, the ‘Hot Boy’ musician announced that he no longer wanted to be associated with the “rapper” label.
He made his comments during an Instagram live session in December 2022. He candidly stated: “I don’t want to be called a rapper anymore.”
