BMW S 1000 RR launched in India with 207 hp

The BMW S 1000 RR is upgraded in terms of aesthetics and mechanics. The engine now has a capacity of 207 horsepower and 113 Nm of torque. Torque power remains the same, but output power has increased by 2 hp.

The BMW S 1000 RR has been launched in the Indian market. It is priced between $20.25 lakh (old gallery) and $24.45 lakh (old gallery).

The BMW S 1000 RR is offered in three variants. There’s Standard, Pro and Pro M Sport.

BMW Motorrad has updated the motorcycle aesthetically as well as mechanically.

The engine now has a maximum capacity of 206 horsepower and maximum torque of 113 Nm. Power is increased by 2 hp while torque output remains the same.

The rev limiter has been increased to 14,600 rpm. The increase in power output comes from the new inlet shape and new design of the intake hoppers.

There’s also BMW ShiftCam technology and a shorter secondary gear ratio for more traction at the rear wheels.

Cosmetic changes include new liver. There are new winglets at the front that now produce up to 10 kg of downforce depending on what speed the rider is taking.

The 6.5-inch TFT display now has more functions and a new rev display.

The TFT display can be controlled using the Multi-controller located on the left handlebar.

The motorcycle comes with ABS Pro but now it also has the function of setting Brake Assist and ABS Pro “Slick”.
