Black stones backed fewer climate-related shareholder proposals this year.
In a report released Tuesday, the wealth management company said it voted in favor of 24% of the environmental and social shareholder proposals during this year’s proxy voting season, down from 43% last year. The company said the drop was partly due to a series of “tighter” shareholder proposals.
