The charity lists a number of other conditions that some of the symptoms of bowel cancer can cause.
Constipation, diarrhea, straining, anal fissures, diverticulitis, Crohn’s disease, and ulcerative colitis are all possible conditions that bowel cancer symptoms may indicate.
However, just because these symptoms may not be cancer, doesn’t mean someone should leave them alone.
It’s much better to check the symptoms and determine it’s not cancer, than to throw it away and find out something could have been done before.
