BJP will form govt in Gujarat again, ‘dream sellers’ will lose: Shah | India News


GANDHINAGAR: Expressing confidence that the BJP will form a government in Gujarat under the leadership of CM Bhupendra Patel after the parliamentary elections later this year, Union Interior Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday asserted that “dream sellers” would not win in the state.
Speaking on the occasion of Patel’s completion of a year in office as CM, Shah said the BJP would again form a government with a two-thirds majority. He also praised Patel for his leadership during his ministry there.
“I want to say that Bhupendrabhai that the people of Gujarat are with the BJP. I can clearly see that under the leadership of the Prime Minister Narendra Modiand you, the BJP will once again form a government with a 2/3 majority in the upcoming election,” Shah said.
Perform a conceal swipe at Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Shah said those who “sell dreams” will never win in Gujarat. “Dream sellers will never get election success in Gujarat. I know the people of Gujarat. Dream traders can never succeed in Gujarat because the people only support those who believe in the work. That’s why people always side with BJP. BJP is on its way to a strong win,” Shah said while speaking before the function.
Several development works worth Rs 1,119 crore were also announced to mark the event.
