Bivol realizes shocking disappointment over Alvarez
Canelo Alvarez entered a bout with Dmitry Bivol on Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas as the world’s No. 1 boxer. He’s 57-1-2 and hasn’t lost since being easily beaten by Floyd Mayweather Jr in 2013.
For the second time in his career, Alvarez conceded a goal. And he was well beaten.
Bivol won a unanimous decision, as all three judges gave the match a score of 115-113, meaning they all won between 7 innings and 5. Many observers assumed that Bivol won with the difference is larger than the 115-113 score obtained by all three judges.
Bivol almost overcame Alvarez twice with a score of 152-84 in Compubox statistics.
