Last month, Bioware shared a blog post updated fans on the status of the studio while also promising a future update on the next Dragon Age title. Today, a new post makes good on that promise by giving fans a better idea of where it stands on the development roadmap and the designers leading the project.
Based on Bioware GM Gary McKay, whose unofficial title is Dragon Age 4 is currently in full production, writing “Our blueprints were completed last year, so we are currently focusing on building the vision. yourself: great environment creation, poignant characters, powerful gameplay, impactful writing, emotional cinematics – and much more. The blueprint for the game is well understood and the whole team is focused. ”
Bioware says this update is part of an initiative to better communicate with fans more often about their upcoming projects. The studio said more information about Dragon Age will be available in the form of blog and social media posts “later this year”. The post also bid farewell to Dragon Age 4’s executive producer, Christian Dailey, who joined Bioware in 2018. The game’s remaining leadership includes Game Director and EA veteran Corrine Busche, Mass Effect Legendary Edition executive producer and former team leader Mac Walters, and Dragon Age veteran Benoit Houle serve as Director of Product Development.
The new Mass Effect gets a small mention with McKay reiterating its veteran development team led by ME Andromeda producer Mike Gamble. McKay reminded fans that they shouldn’t expect the game anytime soon, however, writing “Next-gen AAA games take a long time to make – and we know our fans might want them. earlier.
