Biden’s Covid symptoms ‘almost completely resolved,’ doctor says

WASHINGTON – President Joe Biden’s Covid symptoms have been “almost completely resolved” and he is scheduled to appear in public for the first time in three days with a virtual meeting on Monday.
“His symptoms have almost completely resolved,” White House physician Kevin O’Connor said in a statement. Letters second release. “When asked, at this point, he noted only some residual nasal congestion and minimal hoarseness.”

Biden will continue to be isolated at the White House for at least 5 days from the time he was diagnosed and will only isolate when he receives a negative Covid test result, the White House said.
Biden completed his fourth full day in Paxlovid on Sunday night, O’Connor said. Treatment is usually given twice a day for five days.
The White House said Biden will make his first public appearance on Monday afternoon for three days in a virtual meeting with CEOs and labor leaders to discuss the importance of passing legislation to advance the industry. Jha did not directly treat Biden – that was handled by O’Connor, who did not address Biden’s condition beyond his daily letters.
