Biden’s Approval Ratings Among Worst for a President’s 2nd Year

Most Americans disapprove of the job President Biden is doing, with his approval rating hovering around 42% for months after recovering from a mid-30s drop over the summer.
The first years of a president’s term often represent a high level of water for their ratings. Overall, Mr. Biden has the lowest grade point average second year approval ranking of any modern president, with his number down nearly 8 percentage points since his first year in office.
