Bhumi Pednekars Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations are all about passion – See Pic


One of the famous festivals of the year – Ganesh Chaturthi – starts today (on August 31, 2022). This is a 10 day festival ending with Ganesh Visarjan on the last day. Besides offering puja and bhog to Lord Ganesha, another attraction of the festival is the food. During these 10 days, we continued to train, keeping all thoughts related to our diet at bay. Bollywood actor Bhumi Pednekar seems to be too. If you follow her on Instagram, you’ll know that Bhumi is a foodie and never misses an opportunity to indulge in delicious food. And traditionally, she looks forward to enjoying a classic Maharashtrian delicacy in Ganapati Mahotsav. Can you guess the food? It’s the quintessential ukadiche modak.

Bhumi Pednekar took to Instagram to share two posts. The first post featured her wish, “Good morning… Wishing you lots of modaks today… I’m sure.”

Ganesh Chaturthi 2022: How to Create Maharashtrian Ukadiche Modak:

Ukadiche modak is a steamed modak made from rice flour and jaggery, with coconut filling. It is also seasoned with various masalas including cardamom and nutmeg.

All you need to do is knead the plain rice flour, stuff it with spiced palm-coconut sugar, put it all in a mold and steam it.
