Beyoncé and Jay-Z went out commuting in New York City to live their best lives. The superstar couple were spotted enjoying a casual date in the Big Apple on Thursday, November 17. The “Church Girl” hitmaker sported an oversized hoodie that she paired with a pair of shoes high heels, while “Mind’s Empire State rapper” kept cool in a Puma beanie, sweatshirt and sparkling watch, as pictured here.
Meanwhile, last month, Beyonce proved she’s not a mess when it comes to her branding. Superstar singer return fire in Fred is right after the band said she sampled their 1992 megahit “I’m Too Sexy” for their new song “Alien Superstar” without permission. Called the band’s claims “false and deeply disparaging” in a statement addressed to E! On Friday (October 7), Beyonce confirmed that Right Said Fred’s publisher had signed the power of attorney.
“Rights were not only granted to its use, but they publicly expressed their gratitude for being on the album,” Beyoncé continued in the statement. “For their song, no recording was used, only the composition was used. Their publisher applied for permission on May 11, 2022, and the publisher approved the use on June 15, 2022. They were paid for use in August 2022.”
The Oscar winner also emphasized that both members of the band – brothers Fred and Richard Fairbrass — was “credited to co-write” for “Alien Superstar,” one of the incredible tracks on her mind-blowing album Renaissance.
The epic applause, a rare move by Beyonce, comes days after Right Said Fred enticed the “Break My Soul” hitmaker while saying she had essentially stolen their song. Fred and Richard say: “Usually artists approach us, but Beyoncé doesn’t because she’s such an arrogant person. Sun on October 3. “She was probably thinking, ‘Come and pick me up,’ so we found out about that after the fact that you did.”
While Beyonce is busy defending her name, the star also has some good news to celebrate. She is said to be Get ready for a world tour based on new album! Page Six reports that an official announcement can be “expected in the coming weeks” with the start to Renaissance the tour will take place in early 2023. This will be her first solo tour since she wowed the crowd during her engagement. The making progress tour in support of her album, Lemonade, in 2016.
