2023 is fast approaching and there are plenty of cars and SUVs lined up waiting for their launch. Ahead of the new year, let’s take a look at five of the most popular videos on the Autocar India YouTube channel in 2022. At a glance we see that SUVs still make up a large part of the audience’s preferences, but it’s electric vehicles. eating cake is the most viewed video on the channel.
5. Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder review – 1,115 million views
The Toyota Hyryder generated quite a bit of buzz when it was first announced. Toyota sells its powerful hybrid technology in India with the Camry and Vellfire, but this is the first time the brand has leveraged the technology in a more mass-market vehicle. The Hyryder, like its Maruti Suzuki derivative, the Grand Vitara, also comes in a mild hybrid version. Both are based on Maruti Suzuki’s Global C platform and also have an optional AWD system. 4. Toyota Innova Hycross review – 1,206 million views
Toyota’s most successful product in India is arguably the Innova. Now, it has changed from the previous feature of a monolithic chassis configuration, rear-wheel drive to front-wheel drive, a monolithic chassis configuration. In the process, the new Innova – now known as the Innova Hycross – ditched the diesel powertrain altogether in favor of a powerful hybrid powertrain. 3. Mahindra Scorpio N Review – 1,211 million views
Twenty years after the first Scorpio was introduced, Mahindra has launched the all-new Scorpio N. The new body-on-frame SUV is larger, more luxurious, more premium and packed with more features than the original Scorpio it replaced, which is still on sale at classic Scorpio prices. What sets the Scorpio N apart is that it currently has no direct rival, as there is no other 4×4 on-frame SUV in this price bracket. in this videowe test automatic transmission versions of gasoline and diesel engines.
2. Review Kia Carens – 1,239 million views
The Kia Carens is a three-row version of the Seltos but it’s much larger, 225mm longer, 80mm taller and has a 160mm longer wheelbase. True to Kia, there are numerous variants offered with a choice of three engines, three transmissions and two seating configurations. 1. Evaluation of Kia EV6 – 2,516 million VND
The other Kia on this list is the only electric car that the Korean brand offers and it is also the one that attracts the most views – a staggering 2.5 million. Kia’s EV6 sits on the same E-GMP platform as the Hyundai Ioniq 5. The all-wheel drive version of the EV6 really impressed us with how it crossed the line and handled corners.
