Best ‘Marvel Snap’ Deck – January 2023 Edition – TouchArcade

Hello friends. I still can’t order Marvel Snap (Free) down, and that means you’ll get more words from me about the game. I have finished Beginner’s Guide is for a game aimed at beginners and I hope it has served some of you well. What I’m going to do this time, and probably months until I get tired of it, is introduce you to the best and most popular decks at the moment. The Marvel Snap The meta is constantly changing as new cards and positions are added and new strategies are devised, so today’s winning deck could be tomorrow’s ham sandwich. Think of these monthly guides as a quick way to stay up to date on what’s happening in Marvel Snap context.

Oh, and please note that most of these decks are the best of the best at the moment. They assume that you have the right to use the full range of cards. This time, I will include the strongest five Marvel Snap decks of the moment, plus a few reasonably powerful decks for those still moving up the collection ladder. If you need more tips on building a deck from more basic decks, check it out our beginner’s guide for some advice.

This month saw the launch of several new cards, including Zabu, Kazar’s loyal friend. Big Cats halves the cost of a 4 Cost card, and as you can imagine, some cards combine very well with that. Recent additions Silver Surfer is still popular, although many players have devised several counters to popular decks using him. Some cards have been nerfed and buffed, which has also resulted in some minor adjustments on the player’s part. Take a look at the five strongest decks for January 2023, along with two matching decks that almost anyone can make.

Silver Surfer & Sera

Included card: Silver Surfer, Sera, Maximus, Cosmo, Rogue, Storm, Brood, Juggernaut, Killmonger, Polaris, Nova, Lizard

The basic idea of this is to play whatever you can until the fifth turn where you will play Sera. She reduces one value of the cards you have in your hand, which means you can play three of your 3 Price cards on the last turn. Make sure Silver Surfer is the last card you place this turn, as he will then power all your 3-Cost cards with +3 additional Power. You can play your other 3-Cost cards when their abilities are needed, but you should keep Maximus until the last turn. If you’ve played Nova, save Killmonger for the last turn to give everyone +1 Strength. Rogue is here as a counter, especially for Zabu. Lizard is a handy 2-Price card with enough power to help control an area. A very strong deck and it will be interesting to see how players counter it as the game goes on.

Shuri & Zero

Included card: Shuri, Zero, Armor, Zabu, Sauron, Attuma, Typhoid Mary, Vision, Red Skull, Taskmaster, She-Hulk, Arnim Zola

Shuri is a card that stands out with its ability to double the Power of the next card you play. Combine her with another card with high Strength and you can easily win. Zero removes the abilities of the next card you play, and is often combined with negative High Strength cards like Typhoid Mary or Red Skull. The idea is that Shuri’s double ability means that those High Power cards are worth more than their negative effects, and Zero can remove them. Zabu lets you take Shuri and another 4 Gold card on the fourth turn, leaving you with plenty of interesting options for the last two turns. Some people are also bringing Wong in here because everyone loves to see the huge numbers. Just be careful with Shang-Chi as he can ruin your fun in a hurry. Responsible armor.

Darkhawk, just Darkhawk

Included card: Darkhawk, Korg, Black Widow, Mystique, Shang-Chi, Zabu, Spider-Man, Shuri, Wong, Rockslide, Moon Girl, America Chavez

Congratulation! You are very lucky or very rich and have a Darkhawk in your collection. His Ongoing ability gives him +2 Power for each card in your opponent’s deck. So your goal is to get as many cards into your opponent’s deck as possible, and cards like Korg and Rockslide can help you do that. Black Widow can prevent your opponent from taking cards from their deck, and Mystique and Wong are always available to assist with whatever is needed. You’re essentially looking to a more powerful Darkhawk that will win a spot for you while using characters like Spider-Man, Shang-Chi, and America Chavez to take over another. In fact, this deck may be out of your reach. But if you have what it takes, you win.

Negative Mister & Silver Surfer

Included card: Mister Negative, Silver Surfer, Bast, Adam Warlock, Psylocke, Rogue, Bishop, Wolfsbane, Mystique, Brood, Wong, Iron Man

There are a lot of cards with great abilities that are counterproductive because they have low Power. The Negative Mister can overturn that frown, overturning their Cost and Strength while keeping all those cool abilities intact. This means you can play cards like Silver Surfer, Mystique and Iron Man for free. The goal here is to get Mister Negative into play as soon as possible, with the fourth turn being the most likely but the third being played if you can play Psylocke. After turning the position upside down, you just need to let loose with all of your now overpowered cards. Silver Surfer is here as an insurance policy, a job he handles pretty well.

Patriot & Silver Surfer

Included card: Patriot, Silver Surfer, Wasp, Misty Knight, Shocker, Mystique, Brood, Debrii, Cyclops, Sera, Blue Marvel, Ultron

Oh, look, it’s Sera and Surfer together again. This one works a little differently than the first one we talked about as it includes Patriot and friends, who can serve as an insurance policy or misdirect as needed. Patriots can enhance the cards in the deck without abilities, with Ultron on the last turn acting as the cherry at the top. But you also have Sera and Surfer combos waiting for you if you’re lucky, giving you a useful late-game surprise to turn the tide. A little more flexibility than standard Silver Surfer & Sera flooring, at the expense of slightly lower ceilings.

And now, a few decks for those still climbing the collection.

Shaun .’s Slobberknocker Sandwich

Included card: Squirrel Girl, Misty Knight, Okoye, Armor, Shocker, Patriot, Cyclops, Kazar, Thing, Hobgoblin, Abomination, Hulk

There’s only one Group 3 card in this deck, but it’s an important one: Patriotism. So you know, keep an eye on him. Either way, this is one of the decks I should be learning, and it’s pretty simple. Play your cards as you see fit and throw the Patriot out there towards the end to power up everyone. Okoye should be played as soon as possible to power up the rest of your deck, Armor is there to prevent Shang-Chi surprises, and Kazar is there to make your squirrels and Misty Knights go. become stronger. If you want, you can swap out Blue Marvel or Onslaught to spice things up, but never underestimate the impact of taking down the Hulk on the final turn.

Devil Dinosaurs & Destruction

Included card: Moon Girl, Devil Dinosaur, Agent 13, Sentinel, White Queen, Nova, Bucky Barnes, Carnage, Killmonger, Deathlok, Lizard, Shang-Chi

With only Group 1 and Group 2 cards in this deck, this is a fairly easy card to put together and a pretty effective card thanks to its ability to distract. You have a few songs to work with here. The Nova, Bucky, and Destroyer cards can secure a spot for you while supporting the rest if you choose the right timing. Agent 13, Sentinel, Moon Girl, and White Queen can feed you hands to make the Devil Dinosaur beautiful and muscular when you drop it. Lizards are always handy thanks to their Low Cost and High Strength, and Shang-Chi is always ready to handle any nasty surprises.

And that’s this month’s deck guide. We’ll be back with one of these in late February to see where things stand once Zabu has had more time to settle in and whatever new cards the next event brings have made their mark. press. Have fun taking pictures!
