Laptops have been at the heart of mobile technology for decades, and each year they go through a long list of upgrades and new features. Some new features fail badlybut others became so popular that they changed the way we interact with our laptops and what we expect from new ones.

Our experts at ZDNET have rounded up the best laptops from this year’s CES and what makes them innovative and products of the future. Some of these laptops won’t hit the market for several months, but some, and Other cool tech seen at CES 2023, now available for purchase.

Lenovo Yoga Book 9i 2-in-1 Laptop

Yoga Book by Lenovo 9i launched at CES 2023 with the novelty of being the first full-size OLED dual-screen laptop. Each laptop’s screen has a size of 13.3 inches, a ratio of 16:10 and is supported by Dolby Vision. Its 13th Gen Intel Core i7-U15 processor can support 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of storage.

The screens can be used side-by-side, on top of each other or side by side depending on the needs of the user. Unlike other foldable laptops, the Yoga Book 9i still feels like a laptop and not a tablet connected to a keyboard. The Yoga Book 9i can be connected to a Bluetooth keyboard if typing on the touchscreen gets too weird.

Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Twist

Lenovo brought a big “turning point” to this year’s CES when it announced a new addition to its ThinkBook Plus line: ThinkBook Plus Twist. This laptop’s rotating screen allows users to alternate between clamshell or tablet positions without sacrificing display quality.

This laptop comes with a 13th Gen Intel Core processor, a 13.3-inch OLED display, a 12-inch e-Ink display, a noise-cancelling microphone, and improved wireless connectivity. According to Lenovo, the ThinkBook Plus Twist is ideal for people on the go because of its versatile yet powerful functionality.

Lenovo expects the ThinkBook Plus Twist to hit the market in June for $1,649.

LG Gram is super thin

LG Gram is super thin impressed our laptop enthusiasts with its ultra-thin and light frame. This laptop weighs only about 2 pounds and is slightly thicker on one side to make room for ports, making it the thinnest and lightest laptop on the market.

The Gram Ultraslim’s diminutive stature doesn’t mean its specs are diminutive either. This laptop boasts a 15.6-inch OLED display, a 13th Gen Intel Raptor Lake processor, and up to 512GB of customizable storage.

Pricing for the Gram Ultraslim isn’t available at the time of this writing, but it will be available overseas starting next month and in the United States later this year.

This laptop launches with improved cooling technology, a 13th Gen Intel Core i9 or i7 HX processor, a backlit keyboard, and a free month of Xbox or PC Game Pass.

The Acer Predator Helios 18 will be available in the US in early April and will cost $1,699.

Currently, it is not known when this laptop will be released to the market and how much it will cost.
