Berkshire Hathaway reveals stakes in TSMC, Jefferies, Louisiana-Pacific, sending those shares higher


Berkshire Hathaway Inc. added positions in materials maker Louisiana-Pacific Corp., investment bank Jefferies Financial Group and chipmaker Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co.

Shares of Louisiana-Pacific were up more than 9% in after-hours trading on Wednesday, while shares of Jefferies were up more than 4%.

The company led by Warren Buffett also received a stake in TSMC

in the third quarter. That number is just over 60 million TSMC shares deposited in the US.

TSMC shares jumped nearly 6% in aftermarket action on Monday.
