Bentley launches 5 hybrid models by 2022 and first all-electric car from 2025


Bentley will launch five new hybrid vehicles this year, and five fully electric model between 2025 and 2030, as part of the Beyond100 strategy to reduce the brand’s environmental impact.

The brand has committed to accelerating its electrification strategy, following a £2.5 billion ‘sustainable’ investment that will fund five new electric cars and renovate the Crewe factory to make them . Present Bentley Bentayga Hybrid and Flying Spur Hybrid uses a V6 plug-in powertrain, leaving room for more powerful electrified versions using the V8 hybrid powertrain established from Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid. Following these hybrid models, Bentley’s first all-electric vehicle will be launched in 2025. A new EV model will be launched each year thereafter until 2030.

Bentley’s Beyond100 scheme has been triggered by a £2.5 billion cash injection, which will fund improvements to its production site. To reduce the environmental impact of the Crewe plant, which is already a carbon-free facility, Bentley will install 10,000 new solar panels for a total of 40,000 panels, and seek to minimize water consumption and landfill waste. fill in the coming years.
