Ben Ofoedu has revealed that his younger brother Roy has sadly passed away at the age of 47.
The British-Nigerian singer, songwriter and reality TV star, 50, took to his Instagram on Monday to share the tragic news and tell how ‘his heart was broken’ as how.
Ben’s broadcaster fiance Vanessa Feltz, 60, was also grieving the ‘tragic loss’ as she shared pictures of Roy to her Instagram Story.

Announcing the news Ben shared two images of Roy smiling for the camera with Ed Sheeran’s The A Team playing overhead.
In his caption, he wrote: ‘My heart is broken, man. I love you so much and know that we will meet again. Rest in eternal peace. Roy Ofoedu. 12/03/75 – 16/09/2022. ‘
Neither Ben nor Vanessa revealed the reason for Roy’s grieving death.

In a second post, Ben revealed that he’s taking a break from using social media to deal with ‘personal issues’ as he sends ‘God’s love and light to everyone in need. read this book’.
In Vanessa’s Instagram Story post, she wrote: ‘I am deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Ben’s beautiful younger brother. A gentle gentleman. ‘

This morning star Vanessa has been in a relationship with Ben – who is 10 years her junior – for 16 years.
Vanessa has two daughters – Allegra, 36, and Saskia, 33 – after marrying orthopedic surgeon Michael Kurer.
Vanessa was loved by her partner Ben for her 60th birthday on This Morning earlier this year.

The announcer burst into tears when Ben made a surprise appearance on the show and presented her with a bouquet of flowers for her important birthday.
The This Morning group played a trick on Vanessa when Ben pretended to be a phone viewer named ‘Daniel’ who said he was Vanessa’s biggest fan.
‘Daniel’ confessed her love to a confused-looking Vanessa to host Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield later said ‘Daniel’ was in the studio to surprise her.

Ben then emerges and sings All My Life by K-Ci and JoJo as Vanessa breaks down in tears.
Vanessa said: ‘Oh my gosh, thank you so much.’
Ben replied: ‘Happy birthday honey. We’ve had a night out and then I’ll take you to Hatton Gardens. ‘
Vanessa jokingly added: ‘That person on the phone, I think they’re not really coming right? They sound weird. ‘
Earlier on the show, Vanessa talked about how quickly time flies when she thinks about turning 60.
She said: ‘People warn you it’s going to be hard and you just think, ‘Oh, don’t be so silly, you’re a boring old man. ‘ I’ve done a lot of things but I have more to do.
‘I have 22 friends coming in from a lovely dinner tonight and then Ben and I God willing will have their 110th joint assembly in May as he is turning 50. “
