Ben Huffman was named the recipient of the Rider of the Year award for Warner L. Jones Jr.

Ben Huffman, Churchill Downs Racing Vice President and Racing Secretary at Keeneland Racecourse, is the recipient of the Warner L. Jones Jr. Rider of the Year Award. of the Kentucky Thoroughbred Owner in 2022. He will be honored at the Louisville-based KTO’s 34th Annual Awards Gala on Saturday, November 19 at the Kentucky Derby Museum. The award recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the Kentucky racing circuit.

Huffman said: “It is extremely special and humbling to be honored with this prestigious award in honor of a rider I greatly admire.
