Benjamin Hollingsworth spoke EXCLUSIVELY with HollywoodLife and revealing that Brady’s proven innocence is just what he needs to get his life back on track. “I think this is a close enough call that I think he’s going to have to learn to stay away from things like that and continue to fix things with Jack,” Benjamin said. “After all, he’s dating his sister and will probably reintegrate back into town now that he’s not part of this shooting.”
However, Brady may not be completely out of the woods. While Brady isn’t in “immediate danger,” Benjamin points out that “we don’t yet know what’s going on with the character Melissa, the new boss in town.”
Brady and Brie remained in a good spot for most of season 4. Benjamin admits that he feels like Brady has found the woman he wants to be with. “I don’t think there is anyone else for him,” said Benjamin HollywoodLife. “She was the perfect woman for him because she kept him honest and challenged him. He is excited by her. Usually, people think of your soul mate as someone who is exactly who you are. I don’t think that’s true. I think there’s really someone who complements you and in ways that you might not feel effective, they’re very well versed in. My wife and I are like that. She kept me on track. She really complements my weaknesses, and I think I do for her too. I think that makes a really strong couple. What Brady lacks Brie has”.
There was a moment when they talked about the fact that Brie was finally back in town. It seems Brady doesn’t think this relationship will last forever. Benjamin pondered over what was going through Brady’s mind at the time.
“I think it’s a defense mechanism because he’s never felt that way towards anyone before,” Benjamin said. “He said it, and it’s true. I think he’s a bit scared about it and how broken heart can feel for him. I think he’s trying to protect himself by reminding himself that he’s actually getting over his weight. Brie is a pretty big draw for him, and I think he realizes that and he’s trying to protect himself from the potential pain of it failing. I think he feels it might be too good to be true. “
At the end of season 4, Brie decided to file a police report about her ex-boyfriend raping her. Brady really stepped up and tried to support her as she started this process.
“You see him go up to Mel and say, ‘How do I do this?’ And Mel said, ‘Don’t threaten him.’ It was just his knee jerk reaction. I think that’s the reaction I would personally have if something like that happened, but I think that moment was a sign of maturity for him,” the actor said. “He’s not just going and doing something because that’s how he’s going to get back to prison. So it shows personal maturity, it shows support, it shows love and understanding, it shows spiritual maturity. I think it also helps people who may be out there in the world going through something similar to this, it helps their significant other navigate the healing process and deal with grief from some sort of incident. trauma and that whole process of becoming a criminal. fees.
