On December 24, the Bekal International Beach Festival will launch in Kerala in North Malabar. The eclectic event will celebrate the state’s culture and include a bridal fashion show and artist showcase.
The event will be opened by Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and it will take place at Bekal Beach Park, the event organizers announced on Facebook. The event is designed to showcase the unique culture of the area and events will also take place in Chandragiri, Thejaswini and Payaswini as part of the festival.
“By celebrating the festival, the diverse identity, cultural roots and heritage of Kasargod, also known as ‘Sapthabhasha Sangamabhoomi’ (land where seven languages meet) can be proudly conveyed. in front of a global audience,” said the member of the Legislature, CH Kunhambu Association, the Hindu Businessline reported.
A bridal fashion contest will showcase a range of local styles and designers and a children’s fashion show will promote children’s clothing brands while providing children with My first experience as a model. Business-to-consumer flea markets featuring local fashion, accessories and crafts, and business trade shows for networking opportunities.
Around five thousand people are expected to attend the festival over the course of 10 days. Food festivals and musical performances will celebrate local talent and entertain guests, and host a beach sports tournament. The festival is designed to remove political and caste-based barriers and promote equality.
