Behind the scenes of the TV series? ‘Euphoria’ fans speak out about ‘cancelling’ Hunter Schafer, Barbie Ferreira and Sydney Sweeney after recent backlash

We Used To Have Time On Sunday Nights!

Seven months have passed and yes, we still remember those Sunday nights when we all got together for ‘Euphoria’. Season 2 was an emotional roller coaster ride that left us wanting more. While fans waited for more drama series, rumors have swirled that Season 3 has been cancelled.

Show Canceled? Who said Dat?!

Fans also don’t need to worry because in April, HBO confirms that ‘Euphoria’ has been renewed for a third season. The show may not have been canceled, but fans solved the problem themselves by canceling the members one by one. ‘Euphoria’ stars Hunter Schafer, Barbie Ferreira and Sydney Sweeney were thrown into the ‘cancelled’ fireball recently.

Hunter Schafer’s comment pulled a trigger

This canceled domino effect started early last week when Hunter, who plays Jules, reportedly agreed to a post calling out non-binary people. BILLIONhe has now deleted, but the lengthy post appears to have blamed non-binary people for having had a negative impact on the transgender movement that continues to fight for the medical transition.

“You don’t help… You don’t open the minds of cis people. You are making them hate us. For the last time, I beg non-binary people to take their seats and let binary trans people and more specifically black transgender women be the voice of this community because they are the ones who have risks of diseases.

Jules produced a series of reactions

Fans noticed that Hunter dropped five exclamation points in the comments. The fact that she is an iconic transgender actress, many people immediately took to heart when she endorsed this post. As the canceled train started rolling into the station, fans turned back and forth to see if she should be cancelled.

Hunter has yet to respond to critics and in less than 24 hours the ‘cancellation’ torch was passed to her Barbie co-star Ferreira.

Goodbye Barbie!

For a while, rumors were swirling around that Barbie Ferreira and ‘Euphoria’ creator Sam Levison had a bit of beef on set. Rumor has it that Ferreira allegedly walked away after an argument with Levison. In March, the actress denied the rumors in an interview with Insider.

I’ve seen a lot of different things and a lot of its bogus and some sort of mundane little things.

Despite her limited footage in season 2, fans are still extremely shocked when Barbie Announces She’s Leaving the Cast After Two Seasons. Many people didn’t expect her to leave so soon, especially with Season 3 coming out. She posted her Instagram stories with a sweet goodbye.

“After four years of playing the most special and mysterious Kat, I have to say a tearful goodbye. I hope many of you can see yourself in her as I did, and she has brought you the joy of witnessing her journey into the character she is today. I put all my care and love into her, and I hope you can feel it. Love you Katherine Hernandez. ” she writes.

Kat fans are hurt

It’s safe to say that Kat’s fans were devastated by her announcement that caused a sad breakup online.

“No one can play her part like her, I’m so pissed,” one fan wrote.

The exterior of an alleged old Tumblr account

While fans were upset, other commenters made it loud and clear that they didn’t share the same sentiments when it came to Barbie’s alleged Tumblr racist past. There isn’t much solid evidence to back up these claims, but many people have shared screenshots claiming she used to say the n-word during her teenage Tumblr days.

Ferriera also ignored criticism while sitting on the hot seat and the heat quickly consumed co-star Sydney Sweeney.

Sydney Sweeney’s Year Celebration

The past two months have been filled with memories for Sydney Sweeney. In July, she was filled with joy after receiving not one but Two Emmy Award nominations for her roles in “Euphoria” and “The White Lotus”. Despite the actress’ busy schedule, she was able to take the time to surprise her mother with a ’60th hoedown’ themed birthday party full of loved ones.

Sydney arrived to the party in a white dress paired with matching hat and boots. While she kept it simple and made no political statements, fans aren’t here for her family members, who apparently did.

When you scroll through the photos, fans immediately spot someone wearing a “Blue Lives Matter” shirt. The members of the Sweeney family are also smiling while wearing the red version of Donald Trump’s “Make Sixties Great Again” “Make America Great Again” hat.

Cassie Say It Aint So !! B-Day Party or Political Party… Fans say Issa No!

Sweeney fans who loved watching Sydney as Cassie Howard were left in the comments with mixed reviews. Some are shocked but not surprised, a few are supportive or a group is willing to unfollow all together.

Well, that’s a no from me. never unfollow so fast

Sydney with a quick push

Amid the backlash, Sydney quickly took to Twitter to clear the air around her mother’s birthday party.

“Guys, this is ridiculous. An innocent celebration for my mother’s 60th birthday turned into a silly political statement, it wasn’t intentional. Please stop making assumptions. Lots of love to everyone ♥️ and Happy Birthday Mom! ” she writes.

Not only did this tweet create more uproar, but the commenters headed straight to the Sydney thread to learn some more interesting things.

Twitter reacts to rollback ‘Cancel’ transmission

Following all the ‘cancellations’ on social media, fans are dreading which ‘Euphoria’ co-star might be next.

So far, Ferreira is the only star confirmed to have left the show, and Sweeney is the only one to respond to the lashing out that has left fans with more and more questions.

#Roomates, is the excitement over the show gone or are you guys ready for season 3?!
