Before the Red Bull Showrun on March 12, Red Bull India presents the championship-winning F1 car


Ahead of the Red Bull Showrun event in Mumbai, Red Bull India introduced the Formula 1 Red Bull RB7 car at an event showing off the racing car’s assembly and engine details. Within the framework of the event, Red Bull India started the car, and Red Bull Racing’s mechanics assembled the car’s parts, giving the audience a closer look at the Formula racing car. 1 from 2011, including the Renault 2.4L engine, the driver’s cab and the suspension assembly.

While the car was parked in the garage and not running for the duration of the event, Red Bull Racing mechanics were present to demonstrate the engine being turned on and accelerated. The mechanics then assembled the RB7’s parts directly, including the engine cover, wheels, tires and other components. Former F1 driver David Coulthard will drive the Red Bull RB7 in Mumbai as part of the Red Bull Showrun promotional event on March 12.

The Red Bull RB7 is the F1 car that won Red Bull Racing’s championship for 2011, and also won both the Driver and Constructor championships that year, led by World Champion Sebastian Vettel and racer veteran Mark Webber at the wheel. The F1 car is equipped with a Renault V8 engine, naturally aspirated, 2.4L capacity, producing more than 750 horsepower at 18,000 rpm.

The race car competed in 19 races during the 2011 season with both drivers, winning a total of 12 races and 27 podiums, being the dominant car and team of the season. Formula 1 enacted major changes at the end of 2014, signaling the beginning of the so-called turbo-hybrid era for engines in Formula 1.

Red Bull Racing is the team to dominate F1 in 2022, winning both Driver and Builder titles. The team got off to a good start to 2023 with Max Verstappen winning and Sergio Perez finishing 2nd in the 2023 Bahrain Grand Prix.
