As The Shade Room previously reported, BeatKing’s manager Tasha Felder announced his death in a Instagram Post on August 15. Fox 26 Houston confirmed TMZ that the Houston music producer and musician died of a pulmonary embolism.

While fans mourned the loss of BeatKing, his girlfriend Talameshia shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram. Instagram to respond to the news.

In the caption, Talameshia opened up about her relationship with the rapper, sharing that she is struggling to get over the pain of his loss while expressing gratitude to his fans for their continued love and support.

“I don’t know if this makes it true. I don’t know if this helps or hurts me. I don’t know what version of him everyone has. But I do know I have to love, laugh, and live the best version of him. Above all, he was my best friend. My BIGGEST supporter. He called me his Superstar,” Talameshia wrote.

“I see people praying and encouraging. It helps more than you know. Send me any videos and pictures you have of us or him 🙏🏽 I posted this for everyone. Because if you know us, you know he wants me to keep going. He would say “Mannnn stop crying and let go all that music,” Talameshia wrote.

BeatKing’s death on August 15 sent shockwaves through Houston. His manager, Tasha Felder, broke the news on Instagram, sharing photos of him and highlighting his legacy.

“Today, August 15, 2024, we lost @Clubgodzilla. BeatKing was the best part of the club for over a decade. He produced and worked with so many artists, his music will live on forever. He loved his daughter @clubgodparenting, his music, and his fans. We love him forever,” Felder wrote.

Fans were quick to respond on social media, expressing their love and honoring his legacy through music.

Fox26 Houston reported that the producer collapsed while hosting his Urban One/Radio One show and was taken to the hospital. TMZ later confirmed that he died that day with his two daughters by his side.

BeatKing built his reputation with popular hits like ‘Thick’, ‘Then Leave’ and ‘Outside Remix’ featuring Natalie Nunn as well as many others.
