BC announces UK and Ireland broadcast partnership

Breeders’ Cup has entered into multi-year agreements with ITV, Sky Sports Racing and Racing TV to continue broadcasting the Breeders’ Cup World Championship live in the UK and Ireland.

“The Breeders’ Cup World Championship is a premier international event and we are delighted that fans in the UK and Ireland will once again be able to watch the horses, jockeys and training. The most talented athletes in the world compete in our two-day championship race,” said Breeders’ Cup President and CEO Drew Fleming. “ITV, Sky Sports Racing and Racing TV have been great partners and we are delighted to renew the agreements to provide world-class coverage of the Breeders’ Cup to UK fans. and Ireland.”

As part of a multi-year agreement, ITV will cover the two-day World Championships on ITV channels, including ITV, ITV3 and ITV4. Broadcast time will be announced later.

ITV will also work with Breeders’ Cup to offer a consumer competition in which the winners will receive a trip to two World Championships, including premium tickets and access access to Breeders’ Cup, airfare, hotel accommodation and transportation.
