BBC reports on mass protests at ‘critical time for Georgia’


Massive protests have continued for a second consecutive night in Georgia, sparked by the government’s decision to suspend accession talks with the European Union.

In the capital Tbilisi, police used water cannons, tear gas and rubber bullets against crowds gathered outside parliament.
