BBA Ireland is by far the largest buyer at Arqana Livestock Sale, with Donohoe responsible for the majority of the agency’s purchases. BBA Ireland led the buyer table on both Saturday and Sunday with a total of 43 signings generating receipts worth €9,135,000.
“She’s for an existing client,” Donohoe said. “We can still race her, but she will most likely retire and be covered by Lucky Vega . Coming from a deep Aga Khan family, she’s in excellent physical shape, and we think Churchill will make an excellent breed in time to come, based on his pedigree.”

King of Persia reigns among the firstborn males
Second consignment signed by dealer Alex Elliott, who spent €160,000 on a pony (Lot 319) from the first by three-time group 1 winner of Haras d’Etreham King of Persia .
Arcadia Elevage’s consignment youth player is Miss Monde’s first pony, a Siyouni half-sister with Australian group 3 winner The Mask of Time and Mahari and Landmarks have been listed. They are, in turn, half-sisters to the heroine QIPCO One Thousand Guineas (G1) Miss France .
“The King of Persia is a very good racehorse and he is a big horse himself, and this colt is also a big boy,” said Elliott. “He’s not a Siyouni mare who should have every chance to be a stallion because he’s an extraordinary mare himself and is Pivotal’s.

“Everybody is very positive about the two stallions and it’s nice to see that Brits, Irish and buyers in general are very interested in them. We have no doubt, but see them selling well to buyers. foreign and some people are very good judge is extremely active.

“She was bought for Gary Chervenell and he’s going to send her to America,” Bozo said. “She would race there and then he would cross from her. He had a few mares with us and he was very interested in the beautiful French and Wertheimer lineage, so he did. very happy.”
