The big 1.0 update for Battlefield 2042 is out now on all platforms, and it brings hundreds of changes, bug fixes, and quality of life improvements to the online shooter ahead of the launch of Season 1.
And speaking of Season 1: Now No, DICE will be revealing the gameplay today at 8 a.m. PT / 11 a.m. ET. Battlefield 2042 official YouTube channelas reported by VG247. There, you’ll get a glimpse of these changes and improvements, and see what the first part of Battlefield 2042 looks like. As for the update, here’s what Dice has highlighted:
- Various improvements to soldier gameplay will result in smoother animations and overall motion.
- Weapons have received updated netcode to improve hit registration. We’ve also worked on a further balancing act, including increasing projectile speed for DMRs and LMGs, and improving accuracy for Shotguns.
- Many new XP events have been added, such as to kill an enemy that has just injured or killed a teammate, or when an enemy vehicle you recently damaged is destroyed by your teammates and enemies. occupants killed
- The number of vehicles available in the world has been increased for Conquest, which will make it easier to navigate the map
