Bandcamp doesn’t hold a monthly event, and there are concerns that Bandcamp Fridays may no longer happen after Epic Games . However, at least for the next few months, Bandcamp Fridays will be a hit again. Camping group it will run events on october 7th, november 4th and december 2nd as well today.
To date, more than 800,000 music lovers have joined Bandcamp Fridays. As a result of 21 events to date, the platform says it has paid out more than $78 million to artists and labels. After the processing fee is paid, artists and brands receive approximately 93% of the fan funds. Bandcamp says that on other days, artists and labels get about 82% after the cut.
