Bajaj Consumer Care’s net profit drops 14 to Rs 33 crore

FMCG company Bajaj Consumer Care Ltd saw net profit drop 14% to Rs 33 billion ($4 million) in the third quarter ending December 2022, compared with Rs 38 billion reported in in the same period last year.

The company’s revenue for the quarter rose 1% to Rs 227 million, compared with Rs 226 crore reported for the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
“The company’s modern commerce grew 41% year-over-year (YoY) in the October-December quarter while e-commerce recorded 84% growth,” Bajaj Consumer said in a statement. quarterly update.
“International business saw 37% growth in the third quarter of fiscal 2023 compared to the same period last year on a consolidated basis.
