BAFTA TV Awards Jodie Comer clutches her Leading Actress gong as she makes a very glam exit

Jodie Comer had a night to remember on Sunday as she scooped the Leading Actress gong at the BAFTA TV Awards in London.

And the screen star looked stunning as she made a glam exit from Royal Festival Hall after celebrating her big win for the COVID-set drama Help.

She put on a leggy display in her plunging Hugo Boss tuxedo gown as she led the giddy departures alongside the night’s other big winners Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.

Earlier in the evening Jodie admitted she was ‘very nervous’ as she took to the stage to receive her award for her outstanding performance in the pandemic drama.

Presented by Olivia Colman – the Geordie duo were delighted to scoop the first award earlier in the night, which marked the fourth time they have won in the category and the eight time they have been nominated in it.

A giddy Ant and Dec said in their acceptance speech: ‘Thanks so much, what a great start to the night, we were convinced we wouldn’t get it this year so this is wonderful.

‘This is a lovely cherry on the cake. When we first started the show we were just in an empty studio and walking around thinking ‘is this any good?’
