The EE BAFTA Film Awards 2022 celebrates the best of British and international cinema. This year, hosted by Rebel Wilson, the show was filled with comedic genius, heartfelt acceptance speeches, and incredible red carpet fashion moments.
There are quite a few fashion films nominated. The cast of “House of Gucci”, special Lady Gaga, bringing drama to the red carpet in Ralph Lauren. We’d also love to see what some rising stars choose to wear, especially “BridgertonSimone Ashley and EE were nominated for the rising star awards Millicent Simmonds, Lashana Lynch and Morfydd Clark.
Opening the red carpet were Clara Amfo in a rose gold strapless midi dress and Bimini Bon Boulash in an eclectic white lace dress with blue full-length gloves. We also noticed a few striking trends such as the yellow gown worn by Ariana DeBose of “West Side Story”, “Saint Maude” star and EE rising star contender Morfydd Clark, and screenwriter and director Charlotte Carroll. Our favorite trend of the evening? The cropped details on the dress were worn by “Belfast” star Caitriona Balfe and up-and-coming actor Shalom Brune-Franklin.
