Ayoni Talks ‘The Vision’ EP And Shares Her Influences With New Playlist – Hollywood Life

When the curtain finally falls in 2022, Ayoni will definitely bow. In the past six months, the Barbados-born singer has released EP Vision, a new music collection heralded by the singles “You Said I Love You Too Soon” and “Before I Prosper.” With the appearance of Vision in September, Ayoni continues her path to music superstardom, combining her dynamic vocals with a cross-genre production. There are touches of R&B, soul, dance, pop and psychedelia, all brought together to create an engaging listening experience from start to finish.

Ayoni on the release of her EP in September: “I fell deeper into adulthood and deeply understood the loneliness and confusion that coexist alongside novelty and joy. while creating his own path in this world. “I believe EP Vision marks my entry into a more intentional and ambitious production as I welcome my audience to consider with me what it takes to see through a vision.”

For those who don’t know about this explosive talent, Ayoni has curated a special playlist for hollywood life that not only shares a glimpse of her influences but also provides some insight into the songs that make up Vision.

Ayoni .’s HollywoodLife Playlist

Rachel Chinouriri, “The Darker Place”

“I love the variety of Chinouriri’a as well as the depth and layers in this song. It was very emotional and unique and really inspired me to produce the EP.

Ayoni, “What is holy to sinners”

This is my song about coming of age and navigating the unknown waters of adulthood.

Solange, “Losing You”

I love the sad pop sound of this record. It feels like crying and dancing, and I think that’s the feeling I’ve had all year.

Ayoni, “Before I Prospered”

[“Before I Prosper”] is my baby and one of my favorite songs ever. This is a song that is completely like me from start to finish. With its bold, layered production and twists and turns, this song represents the climb up after a failure.”

Lil Silva, “Another Sketch”

Probably my favorite song of the year; This song is a feel good electronic song. I love the alternative, emotional flow to this one, it’s like a soundtrack to a great moment in life.

King Princess ft. Foushee, “Little Bother”

Realistic Alt-indie! I love this song and when Foushee and King Princess record a moody record like this, it gives off a feeling of anxiety and longing.

Ayoni, “If You Leave”

This track is the most super pop breakup song ever. I love its journey and how it gains momentum throughout!

Anna Wise, “Some Mistakes”

The track of this track is very strong. Anna Wise seems to really understand how to create something that moves you and this has inspired my approach to Vision on EP.

Ayoni, “Vision”

[This is] a Groove pop song. This is the song from the EP, all about dreams and expression and believing that good things will happen according to divine alignment.

Dijon, “Many times”

The saddest track with such a unique bite. I like the personality of this track and the drum production. Very memorable and different for this day and age.
