Avatar: The Way of Water Swiss crosses the $2 billion mark at the global box office

Avatar: The Way of Water shows no sign of giving up its box-office dominance, grossing an estimated $19.7 million (about Rs 160 crore) in its sixth weekend in North America, industry observer Exhibitor Relations said on Sunday. As a result, James Cameron’s sci-fi epic has crossed the $2 billion mark (approximately Rs 16,230) globally, the best achievement in a pandemic era, with cumulative ticket sales of 598 million dollars (approximately Rs 4,852 and $1.42 billion (approximately Rs 11,522 crore)) elsewhere in the world.
