Auto Expo 2023: Super Meteor competes with Benda LFC700 . 4-cylinder cruiser
Aadishwar Auto Ride India (AARI), part of Mahavir Group, introduced a range of brands at Auto Expo 2023, including Chinese motorcycle manufacturer Benda. The company displayed a lot of products at the fair and one of the standout models that caught everyone’s attention was the LFC700 mid-range cruiser and it will compete with the newly launched model. Royal Enfield Super product Meteor 650 in the same segment.
The highlight on the Benda LFC700 is its engine. The cruiser draws power from a 680 cc 4-cylinder engine, producing 91 horsepower at 11,000 rpm and maximum torque of 63 Nm at 8,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Globally, the LFC700 is available in two variants – standard and wide tire replacement. AARI introduced the latter at Auto Expo.

The LFC700 features a power-cruiser design complete with spherical LED headlights with turbine-inspired housings. This model has a low ground clearance, matching the cruiser body style with a single floating seat, adding to its beauty. The frame and rear swingarm are powder coated, while the 20-liter wide fuel tank adds a muscular look. The lower belly exhaust has square tips that add to the distinctive styling elements on the motorcycle. The LFC700 rides on a 19-inch front tire, 130 mm wide, while the 18-inch rear wheel is 310 mm wide. The rear tire definitely catches your attention. Dry weight at 275 kg.
Benda, part of China’s QJ Automotive Group, claims a top speed of 195 km/h. Other hardware components include USD front fork from KYB and monoshock at the rear. Braking performance comes from Brembo dual disc brakes at the front and single disc at the rear. Dual-channel ABS is standard on the power-cruiser. Benda LFC700 costs about $5.57 lakh (48,500 CNY) in China. AARI has not confirmed whether it plans to bring the LFC700 to the Indian market. That said, the power-cruiser will be priced at the top end with the model most likely to be locally assembled when it arrives.
Currently, AARI retails Benelli, Keeway, Zontes and QJ Motor in India through its dealer network. The company introduced Benelli bikes and the Italian premium motorcycle brand MBP (Moto Bologna Passione) at Auto Expo 2023.
