SYDNEY, March 24 (Reuters) – After nearly a decade of negotiations, Australia and the European Union have finalized a landmark trade agreement, with both parties putting pen to paper Tuesday. The pact eliminates customs duties on the vast majority of European products entering Australia, while also scrapping tariffs on almost the entirety of Australia’s critical mineral exports heading to EU markets.
