“At 100%, it will be a public contest”

Conor Benn and Chris Eubank Jr faced off for the first time before their super battle as the pair resumed their family feud.

Benn’s father Nigel was a middle and super middleweight champion when he fought Eubank’s father Chris Sr twice in the 1990s.

Eubank won the pair’s first meeting before the rematch, at 168lb, scoring a draw in October 1993.

Sons of two legends will meet 29 years later, minus one day, at O2 Arena in London on October 8.

It will be broadcast on DAZN worldwide and DAZN Pay-Per-View in the UK and Ireland and will be held at the enticing 157 pounds.

Benn (21-0.14 KOs) has been a great weight class since turning pro, while the second-generation Eubank has boxed as high as the super-middleweight.

And then understand why Team Benn has won the right in an attractive weight class but believes he only needs to hit 60% to get his hand up.
