Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Party convenor Aadmi Arvind Kejriwal in Surat today made another written prediction on the results of the Gujarat Parliament elections, claiming his party will win seven to eight seats in the ‘city’. Diamond City’ Surat and his party will form a government. Earlier this month, he put it on paper at an NDTV town hall event that Congress would have five fewer seats. He was again on Sunday saying his party, which failed to win points in the last congressional elections in the state, would win more than 92 seats this time. He wrote his prediction on a piece of paper and gave it to the media.

The AAP will have seven to eight seats in Surat; Mr Kejriwal said 33-year-old Gopal Italia, head of the Gujarat party, would win by a big margin, adding that his presidential candidate is Isudan Gadhvi and former quota leader Patidar Alpesh Kathiriya will also win.

He promised to “liberate” traffickers from the “atmosphere of fear and intimidation” in the state, and urged women and young men of Gujarat to vote for the Aam Aadmi Party.

Arvind Kejriwal also said that no private schools will be allowed to increase tuition fees. “We will ensure free and quality medical treatment, adding that only AAP can solve unemployment,” he said.

“Those who leak papers (government exams) will have to spend 10 years in jail,” he said, announcing a subsidy of Rs 3,000 to the unemployed until they find work.

“We are providing a term solution to deal with inflation and these people (BJP) are abusing Arvind Kejriwal,” he said.

He has previously stated that people are so afraid of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) that they are afraid to publicly acknowledge support for the AAP, adding that the BJP is “agitated” by the rise of the AAP and Congress “gets nowhere” in the polls. .

Surat, sending 12 MLAs to the state’s 182-member Council, will vote in the first phase on December 1.

Surat has traditionally supported the ruling BJP, with textile and diamond merchants supporting the party, along with thousands of people linked to sectors in the business center.

AAP invited state unit president Gopal Italia from Katargam, and former Patidar leaders Anamat Andolan Samiti Alpesh Kathiriya and Dharmik Malaviya from Varaccha Road and Olpad respectively.

Isudan Gadhvi will contest from Khambhalia Council constituency, part of Devbhoomi Dwarka district, and in Jamnagar Lok Sabha constituency.

The second voting period will be held on December 5 and votes will be counted on December 8.
