Arabian Knights, Fireline dominates in maiden scores

Keeneland
While the focus was shifted to the Breeder’s Cup, the No. 1 race at Keeneland was kicked off by a minor who may need to be credited for next year’s classics. Arab Knights a 2-year-old purchase worth $2.3 million, grew 7 3/4 length on his debut for Zedan Racing Stables.
Lead-to-rope under racer John Velazquez, the Arabian Knight ticked the fractions: 22.47, :45.78 and 1:09.82 for six ropes before finishing at 1: 21.98 for seven ropes on the fast track.
The Uncle Mo colt topped the Spring Sales of Ocala Breeders Selling a 2-year-old during training, where it was consigned by Top Line Sales and was purchased by Zedan Racing. Agent Gary Young made the purchase with the pony’s trainer Bob Baffert.
Top Line Sales’ Jimbo Gladwell said: “He was a superstar in the production. “All we did was get him ready. He’s easy (to work with) and a smart pony. He’s trained great every day of his life and he’s coming to see you. the best coach in the world.”
The Arabian Knight is the second pony of the Astrology night mare Borealis.

Fort Bragg breaks her maidenhood at Santa Anita Park

First race on Friday at Aqueduct race track proved excited as a hybrid of Juddmonte Farms Fire line crushed a field full of 2-year-old fillings, performing the one-mile test of 13 1/2 lengths for trainer Chad Brown.
