The company is planning to initially launch the feature in North America, and then improve and expand the feature over time.

At the heart of the Apple project is a powerful integrated computer system codenamed Denali, named after the tallest mountain peak in North America. The performance of this processor is equivalent to about 4 of Apple’s highest-end Mac chips combined and is being developed by the company’s silicon engineering team. Currently, the chip is in an advanced state and is considered almost production-ready. However, Apple could actually scale it down before the car launches to keep costs down.
