Apple’s iPhone 14 launch event: 5 features to watch out for

The Apple iPhone 14 event is scheduled for September 7, and at the event the company is expected to announce a bunch of new hardware including the next-generation iPhones. This year’s iPhone lineup is expected to include iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
The iPhone 14 lineup is expected to feature an updated design along with several other improvements. Some rumors also suggest that Apple is planning to equip a high-resolution camera for the upcoming iPhone.
Here are five rumored features that are likely to cut the iPhone 14 series.
Satellite connection
Satellite connectivity is one of the most rumored features that could be coming to iPhone 14 series iPhones. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman recently highlighted that Apple could include the option to connect satellites to the iPhone. 14. However, it should be noted that satellite connectivity will be subject to government approval.
High resolution camera
Another feature that Apple is likely to include in the iPhone 14 series is the updated primary sensor. According to reports, the iPhone 14 series may come with a 48MP sensor. This will not only allow the smartphone to take detailed photos, but also provide better zooming.
Hole-hole camera and new Face ID setup
The only reason behind Apple making iPhones with a large notch is the extended Face ID hardware. Last year, Apple reduced the size of the notch on the iPhone 13. With the iPhone 14, the company is expected to remove the notch using the punch-hole method. The notch, according to the leaked render, looks like a pill-shaped design along with a separate punch hole for the selfie shooter. Also, not all iPhones have updated designs.
Fast charging
Apple’s A16 Bionic chipset is also said to improve performance. However, reports suggest that this chip will also support 30W fast charging, which is relatively better than the current product. Again, however, only the ‘Pro’ models are capable of offering 30W fast charging.
iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro may come with different chipsets
One of the biggest hurdles for Apple fans is that Apple is rumored to supply the previous-generation A15 Bionic chip, the same chip that powers current-generation iPhones. While the iPhone Pro models will come with the updated A16 Bionic chipset. Nothing has been confirmed until Apple officially launches the iPhone.
