It’s not much better than Apple’s iPad mini if you’re interested in a more compact tablet. We consider it the best small plate and the company has made a lot of necessary upgrades to the latest model that came out almost a year ago. Now, you can choose In 2021 iPad mini for $400 or $100 less than usual and the best price we’ve ever seen. That’s how much you’ll spend on the 64GB Wi-Fi models, but you can get the same $100 discount on 256GB version too, so you can get one for $550.

The 6th generation iPad mini is an upgrade in every way over its predecessor. Apple has tweaked its design so it looks like a smaller iPad Air, complete with thinner bezels, a Touch ID power button, and a USB-C port for charging. It has an 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display that supports input from the second-generation Apple Pencil, so it can be your primary device for digital notes, sketches, and more. Its A15 Bionic chip performed well and handled everything we threw at it, and we were pleased with the tablet’s nearly 12 hours of battery life.
Apple has also added 5G support to the iPad mini, which should come in handy if you’re buying an LTE-capable model, along with a Center Stage camera that keeps you in the middle of the frame when you’re on FaceTime calls. Ultimately, our biggest sticking point with the mini is the fact that it doesn’t have a headphone jack, and many can quickly fill the base model’s 64GB of storage. Plus, it’s more expensive than the previous-generation mini, but Amazon’s latest sale makes up for that. It’s also important to note that we don’t expect Apple to announce a new iPad mini at iPhone event of this weekSo the model on sale will probably remain the newest and best mini model for a while.
