Sure, the iPad 2021 has rocked the same design for quite some time now, but that also means Apple has had a long time to polish and refine it. At the same time, there are some significant improvements. The wide-angle front-facing camera does better for video calls, performance is greatly enhanced by the A13 Bionic chip, and it delivers more than 10 hours of continuous battery life. It even has a headphone jack, and best of all, it’s relatively cheap compared to other iPad models.
The limitations are the lack of a USB-C port, the rather rigid design (those thick bezels), and no second-generation Pencil support – for that you’ll need a iPad Air, minior Professionally. But most of us use iPads to browse the web, read, and watch video content. The 256GB model is a better option than the 64GB version for such things, so the $50 discount makes it an easy choice.
