Apple Pay later may be delayed to 2023, may come with iOS 16.4

The company officially released the new iOS 16 recently and pushed iOS 16.2 update version for Iphone user. However, the company does not include Apple Pay later service even with the latest update.
Now, a new report claims that Apple has delayed the service until spring 2023 because of “technical engineering challenges”.
What is the following Apple Pay?
Selected US customers will be allowed to use the upcoming service to split their purchase bill into four equal payments that can be paid in six weeks.
The service will be included in the Wallet app and will be available to make online and in-app payments on iPhone and iPad. iOS 16 also updated the Wallet app with new features like online order tracking and more.
Why is Apple delaying Postpaid
As reported by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the company is expected to release the Apple Pay Later service alongside the iOS 16.4 update slated for release next year.
Gurman also mentioned that Apple is uncertain about when to release Apple Pay Later and that the service may experience delays that could be caused by “technical and technical challenges in implementing the service.”
In other news, reports also suggested that Apple might not hold an event in October. Previously, the company was rumored to launch new iPads and MacBooks at the event.
