Apple just announced App Store Awards winners for 2022. These include individual winners for iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, and Apple Arcade. There are also app and cultural impact awards on the winners list. On the game side, Legend of Apex Mobile (Free) is Apple’s iPhone Game of the Year for bringing the wildly successful battle royale genre to mobile with a new transformation. On the iPad side, Moncage ($3.99) from XD Network won thanks to a new puzzle. Moncage is a universal app so you can play it on your iPhone if you don’t have an iPad.
