In a social media post on Thursday, the actress broke down as she recalled opening up to Kher about her cancer diagnosis. Saying she has “no symptoms,” she added that she discovered the cancer during her annual checkup.
Sharing a video of the actress’s ‘courageous’ fight, Kher recounted, “The story of @mahimachaudhry1 and Cancer’s courage: I called #MahimaChaudhry a month back from the US to play a very big role. important in my 525th film #TheSignature. Our conversation turned to discovering that she has #BreastCancer. What follows is in this frank conversation between us.”
He kept asking fans to send Mahima their love and best wishes as he added, “Her attitude will give hope to so many women around the world. She wants me to be a part of her saving. She called me an eternal optimist but dearest Mahima!” You’re mine HERO!'”
He is also happy to share the star has recovered well after her treatment. “She’s BACK on the set where she belongs. She’s ready to fly. All those producers/directors out there! Here’s your chance to tap into her excellence! Jai! ho her!!”
