Kate Langbroek has confessed that she once watched her ex-boyfriend’s wedding, revealing she got stuck behind the bride’s car while trying to do a ‘drive’.
The TV and radio presenter, 57, shared the story on The 3pm Pick-Up on Wednesday, telling her co-host Katie ‘Monty’ Dimond that she was ‘nearly caught’ ‘ in the strange incident more than 20 years ago.
Kate, who is married with four children, explains: ‘I broke up with my ex, but it doesn’t matter who caused the breakup, when my ex got married before you.

‘I was staring down at the barrel with nothing and he would say: “The bride is here.”‘
Kate revealed she has been dating someone else since the split, but remains single now that her ‘ex-lover of many years’ is married.
‘A few girlfriends threw a party for that day. They said that I must have something to do that day [of the wedding]’ she added.
‘On my way to the party, I was with my girlfriend, who I was living with.
‘I’m not going to pretend that it was a spur of the moment, we actually planned the day: we were going to drive to the wedding.

‘The location is next to the waterfront where all these old piers are. It’s quite complicated; you wouldn’t go there unless you were going to an event [because] wind like a witch’s panties. ‘
Kate said she couldn’t remember if she was driving the vehicle because ‘everything was terrible, it was wiped from my memory’.
“One of us was going, ‘You turn left, you turn left,’ and suddenly we were right outside the site, on a one-way street,” she added.

‘We sat in the back of a wedding car with a ribbon in the front, the door opened and the bride came out.
‘My girlfriend is saying, “Lie down, down.” I said, “Why do I need to come down? They don’t know who I am,” and she yelled at me, “You’re on television! ””
Kate’s friend then covered her head with a map, but she was still recognized by the bride’s family.
“Her aunts and cousins all lubricated us,” she said.
Kate went on to say that ‘every woman’ has been driving to find her ex’s new girlfriend, but it’s only ‘horrifying’ when a man does it.
She married engineer Peter Allen Lewis in 2003, years after the stalking incident, and the couple welcomed four children, Lewis, Sunday, Artie and Jan.
