Angry Carl Froch rips off list of boxers when it includes Jake Paul
British boxing legend Carl Froch has once again attacked boxer turned YouTuber, Jake Paul, following his recent victory over Anderson Silva.
It comes after he said Paul was ‘pretending’ and ‘scamming people’ on William Hill’s podcast last month. Froch made his most recent comments while appearing on his old rival Podcasts by George Groves.
Froch and Groves met twice in the ring. ‘The Cobra’ took their first win through a controversial ninth round, before knocking Groves out in their rematch at Wembley Stadium in May 2014.
After discussing their own rivalry, Froch is horrified when Groves gives him a list of boxers that includes Jake Paul’s name. He tore it off.
“Jake Paul is a clown. Stupid indeed. What a ponce. He’s not even a fighter. He should not be on this list. You have disgraced this list. It’s disgusting that you even include him in this list of boxers.

Froch is clearly not a fan of Paul, 25. This is evident in the additional comments he made to William Hill, where he said he wouldn’t have to train for the ‘Problem Kid’ if the two met in the ring. – although he is adamant that the Americans would not agree to such a match.
Despite the amount of abuse he’s received, Paul has yet to misplace a foot in the ring. His best and biggest win was against Silva last time out, knocking out the MMA legend en route to a unanimous decision win in Glendale, Arizona.
Currently looking to please fans by proving himself against a legit professional boxer, Paul has publicly stated that he wants Tommy Fury to be his next opponent. The pair have twice failed to get the fight going, but Paul is ready to call Fury out after his recent performance in Dubai during the Floyd Mayweather vs Deji bout.
